Frequently asked questions
Is this a nationally recognised qualification?
No. This is non-accredited professional development provided by AMSA Academy. It does not replace an accredited massage qualification.
Does the certificate guarantee an AMSA provider number or health-fund recognition?
No. Course completion is separate from AMSA membership, certification and any provider-number assessment. Each application is considered against the requirements applying at that time.
Can clinic owners enrol staff?
Yes. Group enrolment options are planned for clinics and schools. Each learner must complete their own assessment before receiving an individual certificate.
What happens if I do not pass the assessment?
The founding-course assessment and resubmission rules will be supplied before enrolment. Certificates will only be issued after the learner meets the published completion standard.
